Position Overview:

The Oracle PaaS Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PaaS solutions to meet our clients' business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud technologies, specifically VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service), OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud). This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business applications, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Oracle PaaS Expertise – 4-8 years of experience in Oracle PaaS components like VBCS, OIC, and Process Cloud, with involvement in at least 3 implementation projects.
  • Oracle VBCS & Cloud ERP Integration – Extensive experience in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) /App UI building extension closely integrated with Oracle Fusion
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Expertise – Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on with integration to Oracle Cloud applications like Oracle Fusion.
  • Process Cloud Service – Experience in developing and working with Process Cloud Service (PCS) flows for approvals is an added advantage.
  • Database Design & PL/SQL – Strong database design skills for PaaS applications with Oracle PL/SQL or any other database language with knowledge of ORDS.
  • BIP Reports – Proficient in developing BIP/OTBI reports based on business requirements.
  • BPM Workflow – Experience in debugging/customizing Oracle Fusion BPM processes.
  • Data Handling & Integration – Experience with FBDI or HDL templates, working with FTP adapter, CSV files, and ORDS APIs.
  • Web Services & XML Technologies – Proficiency in SOAP/REST Web Services, XML, WSDL, XSD, and XSLT.
  • Version Control & Build Management – Familiarity with GIT and Maven for build management.
  • Project Scope & Risk Management – Ability to establish and maintain processes for managing scope, setting quality standards, and assessing risks.
  • Documentation & Solution Validation – Experience in creating BRD, TDD, and supporting SIT, UAT, and Go Live phases.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Oracle PaaS Components: Integration Cloud (OIC) |developing applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Oracle VBCS certification is a plus.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both IT and Understanding of relational databases, including tables, views, indexes, functions, and replication.
