Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled OCI Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role involves provisioning cloud resources, ensuring security, optimizing performance, and supporting enterprise applications on OCI.
Key Responsibilities:
1. OCI Infrastructure Management
- Provision and manage OCI resources: Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers
- Configure VCNs, subnets, route tables, gateways (IGW, NAT, Service Gateway)
- Implement autoscaling and high availability architecture
2. Security & IAM
- Configure OCI IAM policies, groups, and compartments
- Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and access controls
- Manage Vault, Keys, Certificates, and Secrets
- Ensure compliance with security standards
3. Database & Middleware Support
- Manage Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW) and DB Systems
- Support WebLogic, SOA, and Oracle Fusion integrations
- Perform backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades
4. Monitoring & Performance
- Configure OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Alarms
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize resources
- Capacity planning and cost optimization
5. Automation & DevOps
- Use Terraform/Resource Manager for Infrastructure as Code
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Shell
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
6. Migration & Integration
- Lead cloud migration projects (on-prem to OCI)
- Use tools like Data Transfer Service, GoldenGate, Data Guard
- Integrate OCI services with third-party systems
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services
- Networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewall)
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c/ATP/ADW)
- Scripting: Python, Bash
- Terraform / OCI Resource Manager
Nice to Have
- Experience in large-scale OCI migrations
- Exposure to security frameworks (ISO, SOC2)
- Experience with enterprise applications like Oracle Fusion / EBS
- Experience with WebLogic, OIC, VBCS, or ADF
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (OKE) and containers
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure (multi-cloud exposure)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- 2–7 years of relevant experience
- OCI Certifications (Associate/Professional) preferred
