The SCM SME / Solution Lead will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end Oracle Fusion SCM solutions across complex enterprise projects. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to translate business strategy into scalable, integrated SCM solutions while ensuring Oracle best practices, performance, and long-term sustainability.   • Industry exposure to Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, Public Sector, or Utilities
  • Experience in AMS transitions and continuous improvement programs
  • Exposure to AI/ML, analytics, or intelligent SCM use cases is a plus

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion SCM implementations and transformations.
  • Define to-be business processes, solution blueprints, and architecture diagrams across SCM tracks.
  • Lead fit-gap analysis, solution options, and design decisions aligned with Oracle best practices.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, security, and extensibility of SCM solutions.
SCM Functional Leadership
  • Act as SME across Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including:
  • Procurement (Purchasing, iProcurement, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contracts)
  • Inventory Management
  • Cost Management
  • Order Management, GOP & Pricing
  • Manufacturing (Discrete / Process)
  • Planning (Supply, Demand, S&OP) (optional but preferred)
  • Maintenance (optional but preferred)
  • Understanding of WMS, OTM is a plus.
  • Provide functional leadership during design, build, test, and deployment phases.
  • Oversee data migration strategy, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Mentor and guide functional consultants, senior consultants, and leads.
  • Support project managers with effort estimation, risk identification, and mitigation.
  • Participate in UAT, go-live readiness, hypercare, and stabilization phases.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Serve as the primary SCM solution advisor to client leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct executive workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design sign-offs.
  • Provide thought leadership and recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Presales & Practice Contribution
  • Support presales activities including:
  • Solutioning
  • RFP responses
  • Effort estimation
  • Architecture presentations
  • Contribute to SCM practice assets, accelerators, reusable templates, and best practices.
Required Skills & Expertise
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end SCM processes and cross-module dependencies
  • Experience handling large-scale, global, multi-entity implementations
  • Oracle Fusion configuration & extensibility approach
  • Understanding of ADF, VBCS, REST/SOAP APIs, and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead design discussions at CXO and senior leadership level
  • Proven mentoring and team leadership experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or Management
  • Oracle SCM Cloud certifications (preferred)
  • PMP / TOGAF / SAFe certification (nice to have)
