Job Description Overview
The Oracle EBS Technical Consultant will design, develop, and support Oracle EBS R12 technical solutions including Oracle Forms customization, Form Personalization, OAF development, and Oracle Workflow. The role involves building Forms, Reports, BI Publisher solutions, interfaces, and integrations while collaborating closely with functional teams to deliver effective business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Oracle Forms and Reports aligned with business requirements.
- Customize and extend standard Oracle EBS Forms using Forms Builder and custom.pll.
- Develop and maintain XML BI Publisher reports for Oracle EBS.
- Create and enhance Form Personalization to improve user experience.
- Implement and optimize Oracle Workflows to automate business processes.
- Lead development efforts for XML Publisher reports to meet client needs.
- Develop and implement Oracle Alerts for critical business notifications.
- Build and support interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot OAF pages to extend Oracle EBS functionality.
- Integrate Oracle EBS with other systems using SOA Integrated Repository.
- Work with SOAP and REST web services for Oracle EBS integrations.
- Manage data conversion activities from legacy systems to Oracle EBS.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and system testing for custom developments.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS technical design and development.
- Strong technical experience with Oracle EBS R12, preferably in Financials and WMS modules.
- Proficiency in RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions), SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Workflows (mandatory), XML Publisher, and OAF.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Forms customization and Form Personalization.
- Ability to understand and configure basic functional setups in Finance and WMS modules.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, Web ADI, interfaces, and data conversions.
- Experience with Oracle Workflow, Integrated SOA Gateway, and Java Forms.
- Strong debugging, testing, and data analysis skills.
Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
