Job Type: Contractual role of 6 months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and OBIEE to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ETL development, data integration, transformation, and data warehousing, with the ability to work across multiple data sources and platforms. A key part of the role involves working with business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and building robust ETL workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in OBIEE.
- Integrate data from a variety of sources (e.g., SQL, flat files) into centralized data warehouses.
- Implement data extraction, transformation logic, and perform data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and deliver meaningful insights through BI tools.
- Implement error handling and logging mechanisms for monitoring ETL pipelines and ensuring uninterrupted data flow.
- Support data migration projects, including the transition of on-premise systems to cloud platforms.
- Create detailed documentation and reports related to data processing, execution status, and data discrepancies.
- Ensure high data quality checks are in place throughout the ETL pipeline.
Primary Skills:
- Strong experience in ETL Development using Informatica PowerCenter.
- OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) for report and dashboard development.
- Proficient in SQL/PLSQL, including advanced data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data validation and ensuring data accuracy across systems
